Housing for Essential Workers Supports Our Whole Community
Nurses, teachers, first responders, social service providers, and public servants all help keep our community healthy, safe, and connected. Yet finding suitable housing can make it difficult for them to accept a job here or stay on the Coast.
When workers can’t find a place to live, local organizations may have a harder time recruiting and retaining the people our community relies on—in health care, schools, government, social services and emergency response.
The Essential Service Housing Registry helps connect workers with housing opportunities.

Do you have a suite or auxiliary dwelling that you can rent? The Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society has set up this registry as a way for landlords to connect directly to organizations and their staff. The Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society is not a Property Manager and is not responsible for screening tenants.
