O’SHEA PLACE Gibsons

This 33-unit affordable apartment building in Gibsons offers studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units. Several of these suites are accessible, making them suitable for seniors or others with mobility challenges. Built in 2025, each unit features a heat pump/air conditioner to lower energy costs. The building has shared laundry, several lovely common areas, and is centrally located near transit and shops.

Funding was provided through non-repayable and mortgage loans from federal and provincial government sources, with contributions from the Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society (SCAHS) and land provided by the Town at a nominal rate.

As a guideline, your rent should fall within 30–35% of your gross household income. This can be calculated using the following equation:
