O’SHEA PLACE Gibsons
This 33-unit affordable apartment building in Gibsons offers studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units, with dedicated suites for essential service workers. Several of these suites are accessible, making them suitable for seniors or others with mobility challenges. Built in 2025, each unit features a heat pump/air conditioner to lower energy costs. The building has shared laundry, several lovely common areas, and is centrally located near transit and shops.
Funding was provided through non-repayable and mortgage loans from federal and provincial government sources, with contributions from the Sunshine Coast Affordable Housing Society (SCAHS) and land provided by the Town at a nominal rate.
